The service
What is the difference between a registered office and an agent for service?
A registered office is the address on file with the registry where official mail and documents can be delivered. An agent for service (called an attorney in some provinces) is a person or company named on your registration to accept legal documents for your company. Some provinces require one, some the other, some both.
Do I need both services?
It depends on the province and where your company was formed. The coverage map on the home page explains the rule for each province, and you can order either service on its own.
How quickly will I know when something arrives?
We log and scan items the day they arrive and email you a secure link straight away. Legal documents are flagged so you can deal with them first.
Who can see my documents?
Only the account holder and the people you name for notices, after they sign in. Scans are kept in private storage, not on the public website, and every opening is recorded.
Can I add companies later?
Yes. Start a new order from your account at any time. Each order renews on its own anniversary.
How do renewals work?
Each order renews automatically on its anniversary with your saved card. Your account shows the next renewal date for every company.
Can someone else receive the notices?
Yes. Each company can have up to two more email addresses for notices, and each person gets their own sign-in.
Do you open my mail?
Yes, so we can scan it and you can read it in your account the same day. Originals can be forwarded to you on request.
Is Quebec available?
Not yet. Quebec opens once our French-language service is ready. Every other province and territory is available now.

When am I charged?
At checkout for the first term. After that, each order renews on its anniversary for the term you chose.
Which cards do you accept?
Major credit cards, processed by Stripe. We never see or keep your full card number.
Are taxes included?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
